Spontaneous trip without the anxiety!?
Are you trying to be more spontaneous? Seeking adventures you haven't experienced before? Being the scrapbook or IG master of photography? Then my friend, the best way to do that is by winging it. Seriously.
Let me get off topic for just a moment ,but fun fact it can be a great self-improvement & if your not already learning to being in the (flow state) (Not having attachment to anything
Or anyone, an optimal consciousness of mental state performing some activity that's fully immersed & energized) Especially if you feel connected to traveling & nature, because it’s easier to tap into things that we feel connection to naturally. When things feel good it’s the right path, if things feel unsettling or bad you need to rethink what’s going on or what your doing. (Your Gut) which is also a good tool to master as a traveler.
Like I was saying… There are some ways that can help you make your roundabout destinations into a one way easy street, if you can’t figure out where you want to go or want to be more of a free spirit.
Start a poll on social media, have your family and friends pick your next trip for you.
Flip through a travel book and stop on a random page.
Throw a dart at a map
Stuck between 2 places? Go old school and flip a coin.
Write down several places and draw from a hat.
A place base on your zodiac sign
(At your own risk) Keep driving, no map/GPS just to see where you go, obviously bring a gas jug or keep track of gas stations around if you decide to drive. Be safe and smart about it.
Just for sh*t and giggles let your magic 8 ball choose for you.
Whatever method you choose, when you allow things to flow as you go through them you find the real gems from uncarved paths.
For some people this can be a piece of cake, others it can feel like a heavy metal wrestler on your chest. If you are someone that deals with anxiety remember that the feeling will pass and that where're more in tuned with the things around us, unfortunately not enough of us talk about it in that way. It can be a curse or a blessing if you know how to use it.
The worst thing you can is force it to go away, because it will fight back, what you do is make a layer of rational thoughts. Some methods that help me won’t help everyone. We are all different and work differently mentally ,but it’s nice to let people know that they are not along because sometimes it can feel that way with everything looking perfect on social media, unless we look behind those closed doors..
Here are some ways to improve your spontaneous anxiety free trip.
Reach out to a family or friend
Remind yourself - You are safe and your doing a great job.
Practice being in the present moment
Feel it then let it go
Do something fun/ stay busy
Chill hop music
Write it then throw it away
Take a nap & start again
Dance out the stagnant energy
Not said enough…, but breath!!
CBD oil or smoke it.
Remember to be practice with yourself. It’s all about repetition. The more you do it the easier it gets with time depending on your depth & what you believe you can change for yourself. I think reading any blog or in general improving yourself, getting out of your comfort zone is bravery on it's own and realizing some will never understand the magnitude it takes to gain the energy to pull yourself out of a difficult place.
